This Privacy Policy applies to Glancy and other Services operated by Happy Apps S.L.. For simplicity, we refer to it as “Glancy” in this Privacy Policy

When You download Glancy You, confirm and certify that You are above 14 years of age or that You are the holder of patria potestas or legal guardian of the user of Glancy. We are going to do our utmost to prevent unlawful uses. Therefore, We will try to verify Your identity, reserving our right to deny the use of our Services in cases where information is not truthful, being able to take the necessary legal actions.

1) WITH WHAT PURPOSE WILL HAPPY APPS S.L. PROCESS THE USER’S PERSONAL DATA AND FOR HOW LONG?

Your collected personal data will be processed by Happy Apps S.L.  in conformity with the following purposes:

• Reception, management and giving response when you report a problem, contact or communicate with Us. 
• Maintenance, support and updating of Glancy, as well as of the contents.
• Resolution of possible technical incidents or of those of any other nature that may arise in relation to Glancy or Services.
• Draw-up of anonymous statistical reports on access habits and the activity developed by Users.

In the event that the User provides data from third parties, he/she declares to have their consent and undertakes to transfer the information contained in the Privacy Policy to the interested party, the holder of said data, exempting Happy Apps S.L.  from any responsibility in this regard. However, Happy Apps S.L. may carry out the necessary verifications to confirm this fact, adopting the corresponding due diligence measures, in accordance with current legislation on data protection. 

The data will be processed during the time necessary for the realization of the objectives, differentiating between the data necessary for the management of the contracted service and the collection of those processed for reasons of publicity or customer service, unless the User requests its cancellation to Happy Apps S.L. , opposes or revokes its consent.

 

2) WHAT DATA WILL WE DEAL WITH?

We will process Your data that are necessary to give You the required service, among others:

• Usage Information. We collect information about Your activity on Our Services, for instance how you use them (e.g., date and time you logged in, time spent in Glancy, features you’ve been using, advertising that You click on). For this purpose, we can use analytics tools (for example, Appsflyer, Firebase or other internal developments) that let us know the usage of Glancy App.
• Information on your wireless and mobile network connection, like your service provider and signal strength.

• Hardware and software information such as IP address, device type, App crashes, app version, advertising IDs (such as Google’s AdvertisingID and Apple’s IDFA, both of which are randomly generated numbers that you can reset by going into your device’s settings), browser type, version and language, operating system, time zones, identifiers associated with cookies or other technologies that may uniquely identify your device or browser (e.g., IMEI/UDID and MAC address).
• Comply with legally established obligations.

 

3) WHAT DATA WILL NOT BE SHARED

 Your security & safety comes first. That’s why in Happy Apps S.L. your sensitive information is under no circumstances collected or stored in any way. You will always be in possession of your data regarding personal information such as email, name, etc… 

Exactly, what does Happy Apps S.L. not keep or archive:

 

Name & Surname. Your identification is private at all time, Happy Apps S.L. does not have access to this matter.

Email. Happy Apps S.L. does not receive your email directly, the company will not store this information and will only have access to this matter if there were any will on the user’s behalf to get in touch via survey or form.

Phone number. Happy Apps S.L. does not use this information for any of its functioning purposes thus, Happy Apps S.L. does not entitle the usage of phone credentials, nor its storage. 

Passwords of any kind. All passwords are fully encrypted, your access credentials are under the most strict algorithm security methods.

Address. None of Happy Apps S.L.’s apps, ask for or collect specific address codes, what they do, if location permissions are required for function purposes, is track essential geolocation data anonymously for the correct running of the app. 

Credit card or any billing or payment details. All sensitive data regarding payments such as; credit card and/or banking information is handled & processed by Google or Apple for any digital products consumed through our apps. Happy Apps S.L. does not have access to this information or related banking elements.

 

 

4) WHAT IS THE LEGITIMACY OF DATA PROCESSING?

 The legitimacy of the data processing will be:

4.1) The execution of the Agreement for:

• Management of the Services selected by the User

4.2) The User’s consent to: 

• The management of queries, requests of information, complaints and claims.

4.3) The legitimate interest of Happy Apps S.L. , for:

• The creation of anonymous statistical reports.

5) FOR HOW LONG WILL WE KEEP USER’S DATA?

The data will be processed during the time interval necessary to accomplish the purposes they have been collected for, this is for the provision of the services or until You unsubscribe from the Glancy opposes or revoke your consent and, subsequently, they will be fully locked until prescription of any derivative responsibilities., only available to Judges, Courts and Public Administrations, after which time they will be permanently eliminated

 

6) WHO THE DATA WILL BE SHARED WITH?

User’s data may be communicated to:

• Entities in charge of managing the corresponding Services, as the case may be.

• Other group companies to assist us in technical processing operations.

• We may disclose Your information if reasonably necessary: (i) to comply with a legal process, such as a court order, subpoena or search warrant, government / law enforcement investigation or other legal requirements; (ii) in connection with efforts to investigate, prevent, or take other action regarding illegal activity, suspected fraud or other wrongdoing; or (iii) to protect and defend the rights, property or safety of Our company, Our users, Our employees, or others.

• Additionally, the data may be accessible by Happy Apps S.L.. suppliers, being the said access necessary for adequate meeting of legal obligations and/or the provision of services for the aforementioned purposes. The said suppliers will not process your data for their own purposes that have not been previously informed by Happy Apps S.L.. 

The recipients indicated in this section may be located within or outside the European Economic Zone; in the latter case, International data transfers are duly legitimate. In any case, any international data transfer will be made in accordance with Chapter 5 of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation) and always ensure that the place of destination of the data transfers has in place equal or more protective data protection regulations for the data subjects.  

According to this point, all electronic commercial communication will include a link so that users can unsubscribe from this service.

 

7) PERMISSION MANAGEMENT 

 Glancy does not require any specific permissions in order to function properly. You can always review the permission setting by accessing it through your Android Settings.

Glancy only runs in the foreground and does not work in the background. All the services and the data being processed will be stopped if you close the app or force it to run in the background.

 

8) ADVERTISING TECHNOLOGIES

 Glancy does not use cookies or similar technologies. All the information processed is attached to the Advertising Id of your operating system (Android or iOs). 

 The advertising ID is a unique, user-resettable ID for advertising. It gives users better controls and provides developers with a simple, standard system to control the usage of their apps. It enables users to reset their identifier or opt out of personalized ads (formerly known as interest-based ads) within their OS (android or iOs).

 You can change reset your advertising ID in these sections:

8.1. Advertising SDK’s

Additionally we use third party SDK’s in order to improve and optimise advertising performance, user privacy considered. Integrated SDK’s include:

• Facebook Ads SDK

• AppsFlyer SDK 
• Unity Ads 
• Vungle Ads 

 

8.2. In App Advertising 

We use third-party advertising companies to serve ads when you visit the Websites and/or use the Mobile Apps. These companies may use information about your visits to any of the Websites and other websites and the Mobile App(s) and other mobile applications in order to provide advertisements about goods and services of interest to you. All data that third-party advertising companies collect is tied to your Android Advertising ID which can be reset under the following path: Settings ->”Google (Google Settings)->Ads->Optout of interest based ads”. We do not respond to Web browsers “do not track” signals or other similar mechanisms, and do not store any personal identifiable information in web cookies.

 Some of our advertisers provide personalised ad experience, this will be explicitly asked for consent for in the Android Mobile App(s). All data that third-party advertising companies collect is tied to your Android Advertising ID which can be reset under the following path : “Settings ->”Google (Google Settings)->Ads->Opt-out of interest based ads”. Iphone users can opt-out of receiving targeted ads under the following path: 

Setting->Privacy->Advertising->Reset Advertising Identifier.

Some of our advertisers enable you to purchase content such as ringtones, while others may allow you to earn virtual currency by watching their ads or filling out surveys. Our advertisers and their partners may collect additional information in the process of fulfilling these requests. Please note that this information may be used in accordance with the advertiser’s privacy policy, which may be different from Glancy Privacy Policy.

We may offer you the ability to purchase a subscription for an ad-free Glancy experience. As part of that subscription, you may still have the option of viewing rewarded videos in exchange for additional content access, but you will otherwise not be shown ads through the Services.

 

9) EXERCISE OF RIGHTS

The User may at any time and free of charge send a letter to the address indicated in the heading of this Policy or send an e-mail to the address privacy@happy-apps.net with the Reference “Data Protection”, attaching a photocopy of your identity document, to:

• Revoke the granted consent;
• Obtain confirmation of whether at Happy Apps S.L. are processed personal data concerning the User or not;
• Access Your personal data; 
• Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
• Request deletion of Your data when, among other reasons, the data are no necessary for the purposes they were collected for;
• Obtain from  Happy Apps S.L. the limitation of data processing when any of the conditions provided in the data protection regulations is met;
• Obtain human intervention, to express your point of view and to challenge the automated decisions adopted by Happy Apps S.L. in the cases foreseen in the regulations;
• Allows Users to move, copy or transfer personal data easily. File a complaint regarding the protection of Your personal data with the Spanish Agency for Data Protection at the address Calle de Jorge Juan, 6, 28001, Madrid (www.aepd.es).

 

10)     CHANGES TO THE PRIVACY POLICY

Happy Apps S.L. reserves the right to modify this policy to adapt it to legislative developments, as well as to industry practices. In these cases, on this same page, the changes introduced will be announced with reasonable anticipation of their implementation.
